Dorchester Collection Hotels: The Full List of All 10 Properties (2026)
Ten hotels in six cities and five countries: every one the definitive address of its city. The complete count, the list, and what is coming next.
By Biirdee Travel, Luxury Travel Concierge · Updated October 1, 2026

Dorchester Collection has ten hotels as of September 2026: three in England, two in Paris, two in Italy, two in Los Angeles and one in Dubai, with an eleventh announced for Tokyo. That is the whole count; the group is deliberately tiny, and it has grown by exactly one property (The Lana, 2024) in the past decade. This page is the list itself: every hotel with its city, country, opening year and size, our own guest scores and rate checks, how each ranks in its city, the properties people wrongly assume are members, and the pipeline. For month-by-month rates, the Diamond Club and how to book, see our Dorchester Collection guide.
Dorchester Collection by the Numbers
- 10 hotels open as of September 2026; 1 announced (Tokyo, 2028); 0 closures or departures since 2011.
- By country: United Kingdom 3, France 2, Italy 2, United States 2, United Arab Emirates 1.
- By city: London 2 (The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane), Ascot 1, Paris 2, Milan 1, Rome 1, Los Angeles 2 (Beverly Hills, Bel-Air), Dubai 1.
- Roughly 1,460 rooms and suites across the whole group: smaller than a single Las Vegas megaresort.
- Oldest building: Le Meurice (1835). Newest: The Lana (2024). The group itself was formalized in 1996 under the Brunei Investment Agency.
- All ten hold 2026 MICHELIN Keys: Three for Le Meurice, the Plaza Athénée, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air; Two for The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, Coworth Park and The Lana; One for Hotel Eden and the Principe di Savoia.
- On our 1 October 2026 rate checks, The Lana ($508–1,018 a night) and the Principe di Savoia ($554 in November) were the cheapest ways in; the Plaza Athénée was the dearest, up to $2,693 for late December.

Rates are the lowest per night we found across our four test stays (November 2026 to July 2027), priced through our booking engine on 1 October 2026; taxes the hotel collects at checkout are extra.

All Ten on Our Numbers
On 1 October 2026 we priced the same stays at every Dorchester Collection hotel through our own booking engine (the one behind hotels.biirdee.com) and scored the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each hotel ourselves. The stays were 10–13 Nov 2026, 27–30 Dec 2026, 12–15 Mar 2027 and 15–18 Jul 2027; rates are the lowest per night the engine charged that day, and taxes the hotel collects at checkout are extra. Only three hotels (Le Meurice, The Dorchester and the Plaza Athénée) have at least 50 reviews written since June 2024, our bar for a recent score: † marks an older review window, and The Lana has only 38 recent reviews.

Read across the rows and the collection splits in two. The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and the Paris and Los Angeles hotels started at $1,323–2,693 a night on our stays, with Hotel Eden a step below at $1,131–1,375. The ways in are The Lana (from $508, with rooms on all four stays) and the Principe di Savoia ($554, though only our November stay had rooms). On guest scores, the three hotels with a recent sample run from Le Meurice (9.33) through The Dorchester (9.26) to the Plaza Athénée (8.83), the only hotel in the collection scoring under 9.
How Each Hotel Ranks in Its City
Where we scored at least three luxury hotels in a city (across every brand we track), this is where each Dorchester Collection hotel falls on mean recent guest score. Our sample is not every hotel in town, so read it as "of the luxury hotels we scored there". † marks an older review window. We scored too few hotels in Rome and Ascot to rank Hotel Eden or Coworth Park.
| Hotel | City | Rank by guest score | Top-scoring hotel we scored there |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Dorchester | London | 8th of 14 (9.26) | The Connaught (9.79) |
| 45 Park Lane | London | 5th of 14 (9.39 †) | The Connaught (9.79) |
| Le Meurice | Paris | 4th of 7 (9.33) | The Peninsula Paris (9.60 †) |
| Hôtel Plaza Athénée | Paris | 7th of 7 (8.83) | The Peninsula Paris (9.60 †) |
| Hotel Bel-Air | Los Angeles | 2nd of 7 (9.48 †) | The Maybourne Beverly Hills (9.49) |
| The Beverly Hills Hotel | Los Angeles | 3rd of 7 (9.42 †) | The Maybourne Beverly Hills (9.49) |
| Hotel Principe di Savoia | Milan | 1st of 3 (9.64 †) | Itself; next, Four Seasons Hotel Milano (9.37) |
| The Lana | Dubai | 1st of 6 (9.63, only 38 reviews) | Itself; next, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai (9.46 †) |
Two things the city view adds. In Paris, the three hotels ahead of Le Meurice all rest on older review windows, while the Plaza Athénée's 8.83, on its most recent reviews, is the lowest of the seven we scored. And on price, it depends on the city. The two Los Angeles hotels were the dearest rooms we priced there on every stay (leaving aside a suites-only rate at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles in November), and in London The Dorchester ($1,372–1,957 across our stays) priced in the same band as Claridge's ($1,239–1,839) and The Peninsula London ($1,251–1,772). In Paris, by contrast, Le Meurice undercut Hotel de Crillon and the Four Seasons Hotel George V on all four stays, and in Milan the Principe di Savoia's $554 in November was about a third of the $1,696 at the Four Seasons Hotel Milano.

Dorchester Collection by Country and City
| Country | Hotels | Cities |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | 3: The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, Coworth Park | London (2), Ascot (1) |
| France | 2: Le Meurice, Hôtel Plaza Athénée | Paris (2) |
| Italy | 2: Hotel Principe di Savoia, Hotel Eden | Milan (1), Rome (1) |
| United States | 2: The Beverly Hills Hotel, Hotel Bel-Air | Los Angeles (2) |
| United Arab Emirates | 1, The Lana | Dubai (1) |
| Japan (announced) | 1: Dorchester Collection Tokyo, 2028 | Tokyo (1) |
What Is Coming: Tokyo, 2028
The eleventh hotel will be the group's first in Asia: Dorchester Collection Tokyo, occupying the upper floors of the Torch Tower in the Tokyo Station district, set to be Japan's tallest building, with an opening targeted around 2028. It follows the pattern of every recent addition: a single trophy address per city rather than a chain footprint, and a decade-scale gap between openings. No other new hotels have been announced, and the group has said publicly that it prefers to stay small.
Hotels That Are Not in the Dorchester Collection
The confusion is understandable, because the collection's name suggests a wider group than it is. The New York Palace was a member until it was sold in 2011 (the only hotel to leave the group in its modern history), and the collection has had no New York address since. The Lanesborough in London belongs to the Oetker Collection; the Carlyle in New York and the Crillon in Paris are Rosewood; Claridge's, the Connaught and the Berkeley are Maybourne; the Ritz Paris and the Ritz London are independent. The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air are frequently assumed to be independents or part of a US chain, both have been Dorchester Collection since the group was formed.
The ownership is a single one: the Brunei Investment Agency, which acquired The Dorchester in 1985 and the two Los Angeles hotels in the following decade, then consolidated the portfolio under the Dorchester Collection name in 1996. That single owner is why renovation cycles run deeper than at most groups, and why the group has never needed to grow to satisfy shareholders.
Booking Any of the Ten
Dorchester Collection runs no loyalty program. Its one structured benefits scheme is the Diamond Club, an invitation-only program for elite travel agencies: a booking at the standard flexible rate that arrives with a confirmed one-category upgrade at the time of booking, daily breakfast for two, and roughly 100 in local currency as a property credit each stay. Biirdee arranges all ten hotels with those benefits attached at the same rate as booking direct; the full mechanics are in our Diamond Club guide, and the group-versus-chain comparison in Leaders Club vs chain loyalty.
To value the breakfast: on our rate checks, adding breakfast for two to the same room cost a median $79–89 a night across the collection, so that is roughly what the perk is worth for every night of your stay.
Dorchester Collection List FAQs
How many hotels does the Dorchester Collection have?
Ten open as of September 2026, plus one announced for Tokyo around 2028. The count has moved by exactly one (The Lana, Dubai, 2024) in the past decade.
What hotels are in the Dorchester Collection?
The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park (UK); Le Meurice and Hôtel Plaza Athénée (Paris); Hotel Principe di Savoia (Milan) and Hotel Eden (Rome); The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air (Los Angeles); and The Lana (Dubai).
Which Dorchester Collection hotel is the cheapest?
On our 1 October 2026 checks, The Lana in Dubai: $508–1,018 a night across our four test stays, and $478 midweek from May to September. The Principe di Savoia in Milan was $554 for 10–13 Nov 2026 but had no rooms on our engine for our other dates. The highest entry rate we found was $2,693 a night at the Plaza Athénée, for 27–30 Dec 2026.
Which Dorchester Collection hotels have Three MICHELIN Keys?
Four in the 2026 selection: Le Meurice and Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris, and The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane, Coworth Park and The Lana hold Two Keys, and Hotel Eden and the Principe di Savoia One, so all ten are keyed.
How many countries is the Dorchester Collection in?
Five (the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the United States and the United Arab Emirates) across six cities. Japan becomes the sixth country when Tokyo opens.
Is the Beverly Hills Hotel part of the Dorchester Collection?
Yes. The Beverly Hills Hotel (1912) and Hotel Bel-Air (1946) are the group's two Los Angeles hotels and have belonged to it since the collection was formed in 1996.
Who owns the Dorchester Collection?
The Brunei Investment Agency, which has owned The Dorchester since 1985 and holds all ten hotels under a single company; the reason renovation budgets and standards are unusually uniform across the group.
Which Dorchester Collection hotel is the biggest and which is the smallest?
Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan is the largest at roughly 300 keys; 45 Park Lane in London is the smallest at 45. The whole group totals only about 1,460 rooms and suites.
